Sending bookish smiles to nursing home residents across the United States.
Bookie’s Happy Mail Project is a small kindness project from Ami Writes Stuff. Using existing stickers, bookmarks, and bookish goodies from the shop, we send cheerful Happy Mail envelopes to nursing home residents and senior care facilities across the United States.
There is no cost to participate. The goal is simple: brighten someone’s day, share a little bookish joy, and remind people that kindness can still show up in the mailbox.
HOW IT WORKS:
- Nominate a resident or facility.
- Bookie, MeiMei, and LaLa help pack Happy Mail.
- We send letters, bookmarks, stickers, and bookish goodies.
- Hopefully, we brighten someone's day.
- We'll also include a short message to the Facility's Director to inform them of our intention and goal.
